What started as a stay-at-home-mom's passion project - connecting people through Spanish - has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined.
Today, we are so proud (and honestly a little emotional) to officially introduce
The Lingua Network
We started in 2013 as Denver Spanish Network, and we re-branded as Spanish Learning Network in 2020 as we gained students all over the country and world. Now, we are adding new languages to create more community and connection.
This is a soft launch, but it marks a bold step forward.
Why the change?
Language has always been about more than vocabulary. It’s about belonging, identity, and connection.
As our community has grown, so has our vision. We’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when people are given the tools to communicate, to feel seen, and to participate more fully in the world around them. The Lingua Network exists to expand that impact.
What’s coming
We are growing into a multi-language network.
Here’s what we’re working toward:
🇺🇸 English classes for our immigrant neighbors→ Because access to language is access to opportunity, confidence, and community.
🇮🇹 Italian classes in North Denver→ Inspired by the revitalization of Denver’s historic Little Italy, we’re excited to bring language learning back to a neighborhood deeply rooted in Italian heritage.
🌍 Future offerings may include:
Portuguese
French
And more…
For now, we are gathering interest and building our waitlists, so we can build and launch these programs thoughtfully and with our community in mind.
Honoring our roots and building our future
Neighborhoods like North Denver remind us that immigration is not just part of our history. It is our history, and our current story.
Help us grow
This next chapter is community-powered.
If you or someone you know is interested in:
learning Spanish
improving English
exploring Italian
or joining future language offerings...
If this mission resonates with you, please share this with your friends, neighbors, and communities. Word of mouth is how movements like this grow.
From our hearts to yours
To everyone who has supported Denver Spanish Network and Spanish Learning Network... students, families, teachers, friends... you helped build this.
The Lingua Network is for and because of you.
And we are just getting started.
With so much love and excitement,
Bex & The Lingua Network Team
